Tasting note: A pure, very fresh and elegant nose flashes just a touch of secondary character on the pretty red berry aromas laced with overt floral, spice and earth hints. The delicious and vibrant medium-weight flavors already possess fine complexity and length on the still moderately firm but not rigid finale. For my taste this powerful still firmly austere effort is still very much on the way up and while it will not be especially long-lived relative to other vintages of this storied wine, it will be a relatively long-lived 2011. Consistent notes save for one off bottle.
